Douglas L. Cowan – Washington DUI Attorney
Attorney Douglas L. Cowan is an experienced DUI defense lawyer, who graduated from Washington State University and earned law on the same school. He is the founder of the Cowan Kirk Gaston Law Firm. He has almost 40years of experience defending and prosecuting DUIs. He became the Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Bellevue, Washington State’s fourth largest city in 1974 to 1978.
Douglas Cowan is the founder of the Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice, an organization dedicated to DUI defense, and became President of the Foundation from 1989 to 1998. Attorney Cowan is the founding Member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and he is member as well of the following associations: Washington State Bar Association (Since 1968), Seattle-King County Bar Association (Since 1969), East King County Bar Association (Since 1974; Board of Trustees, 1976-1978; President, and The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
